Celem głównym projektu jest wypracowanie skutecznych strategii rozwiązywania podstawowych przyczyn migracji poprzez lepsze zrozumienie korelacji pomiędzy migracją a rozwojem..

Projekt zakłada takie działania jak badania terenowe, publikacje analityczne, organizację szeregu seminariów oraz wydanie raportu końcowego (w języku polskim, angielskim i norweskim), który zostanie zaprezentowany na publicznych seminariach w Warszawie, Oslo i Brukseli. 

Projekt jest realizowany w partnerstwie z Norweskim Instytutem Spraw Międzynarodowych (NUPI). i jest finansowany przez Islandię, Liechtenstein i Norwegię w ramach funduszy EOG i funduszy norweskich.
