How will the island change after Cuba - U.S. thaw? Will Cuba use properly its chance to improve relations with western countries? What are the prospects for the development of the Cuban economy? Who will benefit the most from the new situation? What problems do inhabitants of the island have to face every day? And is there a chance to improve quality of theirs lives? We will try to answer for those questions and many others during the Cuban Week, which is organized by the Young Diplomats Club from University of Warsaw, under the patronage of the Polish Institute of International Relations, the Academy of the Polish Institute of International Relations, the Center for Latin American Studies and in cooperation with the El Caribe Restaurant.

The conference will be held at University of Warsaw on 11-14 January 2016.
