On June 24th in New Delhi, PISM analyst Patryk Kugiel took part in panel discussion on the book titled: “Poland-India Relations in 21st Century. Vistas for Future Cooperation”. This is also the first ever publication issued in India on bilateral cooperation between Poland and India.

On June 24th in New Delhi, PISM analyst Patryk Kugiel took part in panel discussion on the book titled: “Poland-India Relations in 21st Century. Vistas for Future Cooperation”. The book is a joint publication of Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) in New Delhi and the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) and co-edited by Vijay Skahuja, Dinoj Upadhay and Patryk Kugiel. This is also the first ever publication issued in India on bilateral cooperation between Poland and India. The book takes a stock of the past cooperation between two countries and assess a potential for closer cooperation in the fields of defense, energy, economy, culture, and strategic and international issues.
Panel discussion on the book, chaired by Polish Ambassador in India, prof. Piotr Kłodkowski and Director General of ICWA – Rajiv K. Bhatia, concentrated around crisis in Ukraine and intervention in Iraq, as well as potential and content for strategic partnership between Poland and India.
The event was organized by the Polish Embassy in Delhi and ICWA and fits into program of celebrations of the 60th anniversary of establishing of diplomatic relations between Poland and India.
