Head of Research. She is a political scientist (PhD), Arabist (MA) and philosopher (MA) – works on politics in the Middle East, Transatlantic relations, radicalization, political violence, and postcolonial studies. She is a member of the Advisory Committee of the UN Human Rights Council, European Council on Foreign Relations’ council and the Polish Ombudsman office’s expert commission on migration. She was a Fulbright scholar at SAIS, Johns Hopkins University and studied at Jagiellonian University, Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3 and American University in Beirut. Her recent book is “Arendt, Fanon and Political Violence in Islam” (Routledge, 2019). She speaks English, Arabic and French.
