Head of Research. She is a political scientist (PhD), Arabist (MA) and philosopher (MA) - specializes in politics of the Middle East, Transatlantic relations, radicalization, migration, and postcolonial studies. She is also a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations’ council and the Polish Ombudsman office’s expert commission on migration. She studied at Jagiellonian University, Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3, was an associate researcher at the American University in Beirut and Fulbright scholar at SAIS, Johns Hopkins University. Her recent book is “Arendt, Fanon and Political Violence in Islam” (Routledge, 2019). She speaks English, Arabic and French.
