Analyst on Russia in Eastern Europe Programme. His area of expertise includes socio-political situation in Russia, Russian mass culture, Russia's relations with Asian countries. He holds M.A. degree in Political Studies. He has been preparing his PhD thesis on “Political discourse in Russian film”. He is an author of several articles and interviews (New Eastern Europe, Polityka, Gazeta Wyborcza, Tygodnik Powszechny, Rzeczpospolita). He was a one-year intern in the Youth Human Rights Movement (Voronezh, Russia). Before joining PISM, he was project coordinator in the Stefan Batory Foundation. Languages: English, Russian.
