"Middle East and Africa" programme

The "Middle East and Africa" programme focuses on social, political and economic processes in both regions, as well as their broader international consequences. The analysts from the programme address the internal and foreign policy of the key states of the Middle East (Turkey, Israel, Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia) and Africa (Kenya, South Africa, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Sudan), regional cooperation, security challenges and threats (terrorism, interstate conflicts), issues of development, economic, social and political agenda, as well as the global actors’ policy towards the region. Much emphasis is allocated by the programme’s analysts on how the processes taking place in the Middle East and Africa can affect Poland, the European Union and NATO.
